Warning: Directory storage 'local' does not support container templates! (500)

I'm trying to convert an existing container to a template, and run it in Docker on Windows (as an experiment), but I fail at the first step: trying to convert my container to a template with the message:
Warning: Directory storage 'local' does not support container templates! (500)

The local storage does indeed have the container templates checked, so I'm not sure what is wrong?

Side note: When I try to clone it, it fails with a message saying my mp0 mount can't be cloned (it's an nfs mount).

Anyone have a clue?

please post the exact error message, and describe when exactly you get it. Please also post your container config pct config <ID> and storage config /etc/pve/storage.cfg.
