I've been trying to nfs export a directory on same partition as /var/lib/vz .
exportfs -a
exportfs: Warning: /data does not support NFS export.
syslog:
Apr 12 19:13:12 proxmox1 kernel: Could not export filesystem via NFS with VZQUOTA on
Apr 12 19:13:12 proxmox1 kernel: Could not export filesystem via NFS with VZQUOTA on
in /etc/vz/vz.conf I set
DISK_QUOTA=no
and restarted vz . that did not solve the problem.
is there a way to disable VZQUOTA?
we are using nfs-kernel server .
I had tried unfs3 , and was able to get the mounts working . however unfs3 does not work with LTSP and does not do record locking.

UPDATE:
I tried restarting the computer, and was able to export the filesystem.
