vzdump cleanup problem after most recent update

I'm running the non-subscription version (pve-manager/3.1-16/6a143a40) and after applying the latest update I'm seeing that the .tmp directory is not being removed after vzdump completes (it only contains the qemu-server.conf file). Was this an intentional change? If so, is there a setting to get the old behavior?
(FYI - I'm backing up to NFS storage if that matters).

Thanks!
Jeff
