VZ-Container on gluster-nfs won't start

hello,

I have installed glusterfs according to http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/7355-NFS-How-to-use-version-3 and tried using it as nfs-storage for an OpenVZ-Container.

I can create the CT but it won't start. In the log I see '..start in progress', but then nothing happens. init.log stays stuck at the first line 'starting init logger'. Creating a CT on local storage with the same template works immediately.

Does anyone use glusterfs with OpenVZ and could give me some pointers as to what might be the problem? Is glusterfs unsuitable for OpenVZ? I haven't found anything in the forums, so if anyone could point me in the right direction, I would be most grateful.

regards

I had a similar problem when trying to start CTs using the Debian Squeeze template downloaded directly from the linked site in Proxmox. I got an error on the lines of:
fstat: value too large for defined data type
And then no init.

The issue appeared to be with the template. I used a different one and everything appears to work fine.
