The VPS https://cloudpit.io has the German qwertz layout installed and I would like to know how to change the layout to qwerty.

For example, the "=" sign is nowhere to be found.

Thanks for your help

Hi, I don't know what exactly you are referring to, as I don't see what is behind the login panel.

If you mean a Proxmox installation, then you can run the following two commands:
Code:
dpkg-reconfigure locales
dpkg-reconfigure keyboard-configuration
The first one changes the locales, which include date and currency formats, the second one the keyboard layout.

If it is a more application specific issue, you would need to check there.

Thanks for the reply, but the request is much simpler:

it is possible to change the keyboard layout with the application already installed and German tasting

Not exactly sure which "application" you mean?
But in general all Linux Keyboard layouts + locales can all be changed on the fly.

Thanks for the reply, I therefore deduce that the limitation of the keyboard layout change is due to the isolulnux prompt version (GRLM), where, for example, the "=" sign and the letter "y" are impossible to find even using the "ASCII" combinations.

I must be honest I don't know what you are talking about. I understand your native language is Italian, maybe you post your question in an Italian Linux forum, (since I believe your question isn't a specific Proxmox one).

Google translate (Italian):
Devo essere sincero, non so di cosa stai parlando. Capisco che la tua lingua madre sia l'italiano, forse pubblichi la tua domanda in un forum Linux italiano (poiché credo che la tua domanda non sia specifica di Proxmox).

thanks for the reply, honestly I write everywhere in English and it is well understood I don't think I need a translation into Italian.

Mine was a final note to the speech
