Hi guys I have 2x ESC G4 8000 Servers (187 GB RAM with 2x Xeon Silver 4120R CPUs) running Proxmox. I have a Proxmox Backup Server running on a different Server as a VM with 16 vCPUS and 32 GB RAM. I connected my 32TB NAS as a Datastore for the PBS by following this tutorial (https://it.megocollector.com/linux/proxmox-backup-server-pbs-with-iscsi-resolved/).
I have 9 VMs on one G4 8000 Server, and 9 on another (Total 18 VMs) with Following Specs:
RAM – 16GB Each
Storage – 400 GB Each
I created a backup job for Saturday 4AM to backup all the VMs to PBS. But When I checked, Some of the VMs failed to get backed up and were in “Stopped State” (I chose Stop for backup mode). I think it was because of lack of memory.
Any Suggestions?
