I have a bridge set with VLAN Aware(vmbr3) - There's a VLAN interface off it, called vmbr3.50 with a static IP on it. no Gateway.
If I start a VM, (which also uses vmbr3 with VLAN ID 50), the Proxmox vmbr3.50 works and I can ping it... but if I switch off the VM I can't anymore. I read online that is because vmbr3 gets only initialised after a VM is started and have tried different "ip link set vmbr3 up" or on the parent interface but it didn't work.
Has anyone got the problem - of course I will run with at least a VM running, but I want this to work on its own without having to power on a VM. I'm using vmbr3.50 to mount some storage on that subnet.
