Vm froze up, wouldn’t close, even after proxmox claimed it was stopped processes were still running and showing in htop, consuming memory, etc, so i shutdown the system, left it for 20+ min and it was not shutting down just stuck in a limbo state so had to force it to shut off.

Now proxmox says timed out waiting for device and dependancy failed during boot and just stops there, it doesn’t continue to the emergency mode terminal so i can try to fix the problem. (Disks listed are just extra storage/swap nothing that should be crucial to boot or anything)

Any suggestions/guesses how i can get to the console to fix it?

it apparently just took over an hour to finish booting and everything is fine now...
