Hello. I have 1 VM that won't start after the update. It's a Debian 8 instance. I can get to the console via pct enter, but there are only 3 processes running, so it's hung. Nothing was wrong with the VM prior to the upgrade. Maybe due to the cgroup changes?

Additionally, I can't back up the problelm VM. Proxmox hangs on "creating vzdump archive." Other backups have worked since the upgrade…it's just this particular VM. If I can get a backup, I can move it to a v6 proxmox server at least.

proxmox-ve: 7.4-1 (running kernel: 5.15.158-2-pve)

VM config:
arch: amd64
cpulimit: 3
description: Debian8
hostname: forums
lock: backup
memory: 4096
net0: bridge=vmbr0,gw=192.168.88.1,hwaddr=62:32:62:30:66:66,ip=192.168.88.50/24,ip6=auto,name=eth0,type=veth
onboot: 1
ostype: debian
rootfs: local-lvm:vm-109-disk-0,size=200G
swap: 4096

I'm seeing this now...

WARN: old systemd (< v232) detected, container won't run in a pure cgroupv2 environment! Please see documentation -> container -> cgroup version.
Task finished with 1 warning(s)!

Any way to get this working under v7 so I can at least get the os updated?

A google search brought this up as first result for me:
