So, I am new with Proxmox. And I understand that it is recommended that I keep Corosync traffic separate from other traffic, to the point where it is recommended that there be separate NICs for that traffic specifically. Well, I don't really want to go that far, as I am doing this in a test lab. So I would like to set up a separate VLAN for that traffic, and apply QOS to it.
My network:
Internet Gateway Router <--> Switch with QOS and 802.1q <--> Several Proxmox Hosts
Is this good practice? If so, how does one do this? Also, how much throughput does this realistically use?
