I am not a advance network engineer.
I would like to connect my modem to the switch, give it a VLAN tag.
Then set a VLAN tag on the network interface of a KVM container and run the firewall in there.
As a test I have given a PC a VLAN tag in my switch, I set the switch port to Access and defined the VLAN 10.
My Proxmox server is connected to a port set as Trunk mode with a VLAN 1.
I was expecting when I would set the network interface tag of the KVM to VLAN 10,
I would be able to see the PC from the KVM container.
But this is not the case.
Am I missing a step or can Access ports not communicate with Trunk tagged VLAN's?
What is the right configuration?
