Hi,

I'm new to proxmox and i ended up with a problem that is beyond me at the moment. I have been doing a lot of research, testing and reading though the support forum but i'm having trouble finding a post about the problem i am having. I can't access my container from the internet after i rebooted it.

I'm using the latest version of proxmox i have successfully installed and configured 3 virtualmin containers on centos 7 that are accessible after each reboot. My problem is that i followed the same procedure, configuring a ovh failover ip by generating a mac and assigning it to the appropriate container and now i am unable to have access to that container after i rebooted it.

From the container I can ping a search engine successfully. i can ping the containers ip but i can't access the virtualmin dashboard on that container anymore.

I'm not sure what kind of information i should be posting. Any help or suggestions would be really appreciated.

There was a firewall problem in the container.

does this mean that the problem got resolved?

If not please post the network-config of the node and the container, and the container config and try to explain a bit more explicitly what you're trying, that does not work (e.g. I want to access 10.10.10.5:8007 from my laptop at 192.168.55.70 but I get a timeout)

Thanks!
