Hello.
I suppose the question was asked a thousand times but I really don't have much time. Any help would be very appreciated.
I have PVE 1.6 on a server with a network card. The server is going to live on a co-location. So I will have one public IP. I want to make the following configuration:
1 All VMs that are in my PVE will have their IPs like 192.168.7.XXX
2 One of the VM will be the router which will have two interfaces - one for the local virtual network (say 192.168.7.1) and the second one the bridged interface with the public IP.
3 All the VMs must reach each other locally of course.
How specifically must I configure hardware in PVE for all the VMs and what do I have to change in the /etc/network/interfaces of the host?
The first thing I did was: I created two VMs and set their network cards to NAT in PVE. A booted in them and chaged their IPs to 192.168.7.2 and 192.168.7.3. But they don't even ping each other (their firewalls are switched off).
Thanks in advance.
