Hi there.
Just some theoretical questions.
Never used NFS as VD storage in production environment, so...:
How fragile might be a VM with VD's stored on attached NFS (lets say QNAP).
I wonder how VD might behave during a sudden network connection lost. Does VM just crashes and requires manual attention or it just auto 'revives' when NFS storage is back online?

What do you mean by fragile? Instead of making sure that you have a reliable SATA/SAS connection, you need have a reliable network connection (and NFS server).

There is no indefinite write/read queue, but depending on the protocol used retries are done.
