Hi there,
The disk doesn't show up in the VM while it is OK on the proxmox's graphical UI and VM's config file /etc/pve/qemu-server/<VMID>.conf
Reboot of proxmox didn't neither help.
What could be wrong ? It seems like it is not being loaded. What am I missing ? It it a bug ?
RRa

please post the config and pveversion -v

/etc/pve/qemu-server/106.conf

ide0: ddv_dc_250:106/vm-106-disk-1.qcow2,size=100G

It's not restricted to this VM. Not taking new virtual disk or new disk size is done with all the VMs.

pveversion -v :

please upgrade, you run very old and outdated version

It did it.
proxmox-ve: 4.4-103 (running kernel: 4.4.98-3-pve)
pve-manager: 4.4-21 (running version: 4.4-21/e0dadcf8)

I check if it makes it work.

Upgrade didn't resolve it. There's still plenty of room in the nfs storages which are all enable and active. Where could I look ?

It's done. Now it tells me to update the kernel. Would the following do the job ?
no please use:
Code:
apt-get update
apt-get dist-upgrade
to upgrade your installation

just to clarify:

you add a disk via the webinterface to your vm, but the disk does not show up in the guest?
did you reboot the guest? did you format the disk in the guest? (under windows you have to go to the disk-management utility and initialize it, because there is no partition table on it on creation)

No (I missed this part of the procedure) and
(under windows you have to go to the disk-management utility and initialize it, because there is no partition table on it on creation)
was the solution. Thanks a lot !
Sincerely,
RRA
