I already postet this some days ago in the german forum.
Maybe someone here as expericenes with this:

We have (had) a system here with an Nvidia P100 graphics card in it.
Installed with the proxmox-installer-script. Works so far, I can
register the mdev-devices via resource mappings and assign them to the vm.

The whole thing is used for VDI which clones the desktops from a gold image with
all the same hardware and thus also vgpu configuration.

Now we have installed a second identical card in the (apparently)
mistaken belief that this would double the number of possible VGPU instances.

Unfortunately, both graphics cards are in different mdev groups, which makes the whole thing somewhat
useless. Is there a way to combine both graphics cards in the same mdev group
and thus have more simultaneous VGPU instances?

Thank you very much

hi,

not completely sure what you mean by 'mdev groups' , but if you use resource mappings instead of the raw pci devices, you can create a mapping with both cards in them and
it should work. it won't the summary of the available mdevs in the ui (on my todo list) but it should simply try to allocate one where it's available then
