Very big device. Trying to use READ CAPACITY(16) - suppress message?

I am getting this message in my syslog for every connection over iSCSI to my SAN (8 sd* devices) - according to this post: http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/11888-sd-4-0-0-0-sdc-Very-big-device-Trying-to-use-READ

its not an issue...

How can i stop/hide/suppress the message from flooding the syslog of the server its installed on?

the only sulution I know is to change the kernel.printk, but this could suppress outer message too.
