Hi all.

We have some large VMs, 10TB+ that we would like to verify. At the moment it requires large amounts of Egress/Bandwidth as the chunks needs to be downloaded. Are there any plans to implement a checksum only download where you ask (via api) the storage provider to give you a list of checksums for a given vm(s)? I've read you can run Batch Operations to return checksums for a given list of objects in AWS. Wasabi say no however.

independent from the S3 backend, there were requests to implement such a feature, see https://bugzilla.proxmox.com/show_bug.cgi?id=4594

Cool, with Wasabi saying no I was wondering if this was not part of standard S3 offerings rather a proprietary AWS add-on for their S3 storage. One thing to do it on Proxmox kit, another reaching out to third party S3 vendors.
