Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong place. I couldn't find a generic "Proxmox - All other topics" home
I wanted to try Veeam, in the most probable likely event something horrible happens to my hardware.
After following the installation steps, the veeamsnap DKMS module failed to build for the 6.8.12-3-pve kernel, resulting in the following error:
Upon reviewing the log, I found that the module was incompatible with certain functions in this kernel version, specifically blkdev_get_by_dev and blkdev_put, which appear to cause build failures.
My system details are as follows:
Is this that Veeam have not issued a compatible kernel version or any upcoming updates to veeamsnap that will support the Proxmox 6.8.x series kernels?
thanks
