Veeam Backup

I am currently setting up Veeam in a Proxmox environment, but I am encountering an issue every time I configure a worker node and assign it a static IP address. Despite assigning a fixed IP, the worker seems to continuously attempt to fetch a new IP address via DHCP. This process inevitably fails, preventing the worker from successfully completing its setup. I have double-checked the configuration, but the problem persists, and I’m unsure why the worker is not adhering to the static IP settings. This issue is creating a roadblock in my setup, and I’m looking for advice or potentia solutions to resolve it.
I can see all the phisical servers i just cant get the workers to compleat the test and then i cant take a backup.

Um, there are Veeam users here, but many more of us are in active retreat from VMware/Veeam.

Hey, welcome to the club. Proxmox Backup Server is something we can help you with.

Couple things worthy of note as you dive in ...
PBS is a weird backup system that's really just a huge cache of file parts. A database of bits and bobs.
Because of this design, it's got unreal dedupe, uses much less space ... but it wants fast storage.
It runs fairly single-thread. 4 cores 8 gb is probably plenty for your test deploy. More RAM or CPU don't seem to get you much.
