I know I've seen this in the forums some where, but i can't find it now. I was wondering if this is

A. a known bug
B. If there is a current fix for it

I can't reboot an openvz environment from inside it shutdown the environment and then just mounts it but doesn't start it up again. If anyone has any information i would really appreciate it, there is nothing in the logs that i can find.

If I remember well it's a bug! The only solution it's to restart the VM from PVE WebUI. I use Debian OpenVZ machines and all make the same problem if I try to reboot them from ssh.

Damn i was hoping that wasn't the answer lol. So there are no known work arounds then? Just trying to figure out how i can get them back up if a customer does a reboot, cause i don't get a notification or anything when they don't reboot properly.

Restart checks are done every 5 minutes, so you just need to wait some time (see /etc/cron.d/vz)

Thanks for the reply, takes a little bit of worry off my shoulders. I thought you guys might have something setup to work around, just couldn't find it.
