VE installer hangs on initialization

Dear all

I am trying to reuse my old Fujitsu Celsius M730 workstation and install Proxmox VE 8.4 (ISO release 1). But the installer just hangs at the welcome screen, and I can't navigate with the keyboard between the selection items.

Here are some high-level specs, let me know if you need more.

* Intel(R) Xeon(R) CPU E5-1620 v2 @ 3.70GHz, 3701 Mhz, 4 Core(s), 8 Logical Processor(s)
* Fujitsu D3128 mainboard, C600 Chipset
* 32.0 GB RAM
* 2 TB local SSD
* NVIDIA Quadro K600

Thanks for replying. I couldn't find the exact version you are recommending.

I'll give v8.3-1 a try.

Unfortunately, the same issue occurs with 8.3. However, just before the graphical UI loads, I see an error for a fraction of a second, right after GRUB initializes. But I am not able to read it :-(
 
The common way is using ventoy, and then just drop the iso to the usb stick.

in some cases the booting ISOs above 8.02 hang at network initalisation, dhcp and so on.
solution so far: use 8.02 ISO and then update.
unfortunately those ISOs are not availible any more at official proxmox site.
