VE 7.2-1 ISO/Installer Issues

Downloaded the latest ISO to test, but neither Rufus nor Etcher created a usable USB. Thanks to another forum post was able to get a functional USB with Ventoy.

Once booted, select install, screen immediately goes out of range. 3 different servers, 3 different monitors, no progress. Found a post going back over a year that this is an on/off issue, and last 'fix' is not working this release.

As first impressions go, this one is not doing so well.

Same issue, searching for solution because cluster version upgrade isn't possible and I need to add machines in it...

While I can't re-create this issue right now, I think there is/was an issue where the grub menu sets a fixed screen resolution, which many screens don't like. Try just press Enter - it should spend a while loading files, probably switch to a text screen, then eventually start X-windows displaying the license agreement which should be at a suitable resolution for most monitors.
