Using Cloud-Init for Windows

Hello,

why are changes to Qemu.pm necessary everytime when using Windows VM's?
It's not possible to use Cloud-Init to set password or ip settings with cloud init and windows without making changes to the Qemu.pm

Please elaborate on why this is an issue in proxmox.
 
Thanks. We are using Proxmox for like 4 years now and it's still an issue, which is insane. I hope they will add support soon.
But they did not reply to the bug yet so I don't think we will get support.
 
We are looking since fews weeks to change to another solution. I don't understand why ProxMox don't fix this... Other solution like Virtualizor, VirtFusion, SolusVM2, CloudStack etc... work perfectly well with cloud-init (cloudbase) for provisionning!

Why ProxMox team don't explain why they don't want integrate this? Never respond on all the threads about this subject... Totally insane!
