Using an External USB drive on Proxmox Server

Are there any special steps which need to be taken to plug in and share an external USB drive on a Proxmox so Guest VM's can use it.

Hi,
with

lsusb

you see every USB device, you choose the desired USB stick
For example:

Bus 002 Device 003: ID1054:1023 Scandisk​

with

qm set <VMID> -usb0 host=1054:1023

​

you will reach your goal. A shutdown an restart is required
