We have recently upgraded our Proxmox nodes from PVE 1.9 to PVE 2.3. At the moment there are nodes that run on ext3 and ext4 as well.
The ext4 ones write a "quota engine" error to the console during backups, but apart from that nodes on both filesystems seem to have an accurate and up to date knowledge about the disk usage of containers.
However there is one thing that I don't understand. If I click on Options for a CT, it says "User quotas disabled". Same for ext3 and ext4.
What does this mean, what users are we talking about?
And how does it affect quotas?
