Running Proxmox 8.3.3 using iSCSI storage on multiple nodes. Is running a thick LVM volume over multipath iSCSI an acceptable use case? Are there any other considerations I need to take into account to make the storage cluster aware?

The data appliance only supports iSCSI.

Using iSCSI-connected block storage with multiple concurrent initiators (clients/hosts) alongside thick LVM is a supported and recommended approach for achieving shared storage functionality with legacy storage appliances.
