We are using an HASP licence dongle within a Windows 2008 SP2 (not R2!) VM.
The USB-Device is redirected to the VM at startup via "usb0: host=0529:0001" in /etc/pve/nodes/<node>/<VMID>.conf, which works (device is redirected to the VM), but Windows always needs an extra invitation by re-adding the device after startup.
As this is a real PITA because Windows does what it always does: rebooting if the tiniest thing changes i need to get this done automatic after startup...
Is it possible to execute any qm-related commands out of the guest to initiate the usb-redirection after windows startup? Windows-guest-initiated reboots aren't detectet by the host system (VM is shown as "running" all the time), so unfortunately it won't be an option to let the host handle this
Thanks for any suggestions!
