USB Failed

Hello,
While using Rufus to build an installing via USB, Rufus fails to perform the task. Afterwards the USBs become unusable and attempting to format the USB comes up with "The disk is write protected".

I have to USB drives that are no longer usable because of this. Please advise on how to recover the USB sticks.

This is not a proxmox-specific issue. Stop using cheap USB thumbdrives.

Instead, I would recommend getting an SD card adapter and investing in some 16-32GB microSD Cards. They will almost certainly be better quality than random-brand thumbs.
