Hi all,

I have a USB Ethernet Dongle and since the last updates, it is starting to act weird.
Did not have any issues with the configuration in the past but now it fails every 2h or so.
systemctl reload networking.service usually does the trick and brings the dongle back alive but not sure what is causing this or how to prevent this from happening?

Kernel Version

Linux 6.8.8-4-pve
Boot Mode

EFI
Manager Version

pve-manager/8.2.4/faa83925c9641325

This is the adapter I am using: https://www.club-3d.com/en/detail/2467/usb_3.2_gen1_type_a_to_rj45_2.5gbps_adapter_m-f/

Code:
auto lo
iface lo inet loopback

auto eno1
iface eno1 inet manual

auto enxa0cec86e79b4
iface enxa0cec86e79b4 inet manual

auto vmbr0
iface vmbr0 inet static
        address 192.168.129.222/23
        gateway 192.168.128.1
        bridge-ports eno1
        bridge-stp off
        bridge-fd 0

auto vmbr1
iface vmbr1 inet static
        address 192.168.129.223/23
        gateway 192.168.128.1
        bridge-ports enxa0cec86e79b4
        bridge-stp off

What was your last working kernel version before the update? Perhaps the new kernel uses an energy-saving mode...
