Hello all,

Is anyone using a USB ethernet adapter in their Proxmox setup? I have a small PC that I want to turn into a Proxmox server, but I need a second ethernet NIC, so I am turning to a USB adapter for my second one. Just curious if I am barking up the wrong tree.

Thanks,
Steve

If it is supported by debian it should be fine in Proxmox. For hobbyist use I would guess they are fine, but they can be susceptible to issues with heat, accidental removal, etc.. YMMV on success accordingly.
