USB Drives disappearing

Hi,

I have 2 USB drives that disappear after a while and show ? but are showing up in proxmox UI:

It also shows up with lsblk:

Is there any reason why these are missing from Storage?

These drives are disappearing as I am copying things over onto them so it's not going into power saving mode. Unsure what I can do here? Any help would be greatly appreciated :)
 
What kind of messages do you see in the Proxmox syslog (or journalctl) when the USB drives disappear?
Maybe putting a (powered) USB hub in between can stabilize the connection between the motherboard and the drives?
 
Same deal here... USB-C connected M.2 SSD in external enclosure contains my pve install and disconnected after a while then pve goes down with it :(
