Upgrading Proxmox Installed SSD

Hi,

I installed proxmox Virtual Environment 8.1.4 on a HP Desktop Mini device with 256gb SSD which was only testing mode. Homehow I installed more VMs on it and I need more space.

I am planning to get a full backup image of the proxmox installed ssd via Acronis Backup Tool then restore the image file to new SSD. It works most of the linux and windows OS'

If I do this task with proxmox installed sdd may I face any problem or anyone has tried this task or similar?

I did Acronis backups of my SSD that hosted proxmox and was able to restore without issues. Acronis suggested to do sector level backup which I did.

Once you're done with reimaging, you will need to resize the new SSD to use the additional free space.

https://github.com/nchevsky/systemrescue-zfs/releases

Boot into that ^^ , startx , then run gparted

Note this only applies if you used the default ext4/lvm install; zfs rpool is a different matter.
