I got the Web gui. Looked at my pve-upgrade.log
New to Debian. Saw that the old httpd.conf is in /etc/apache2/sites-available/pve.conf and the listening port was 8006. Went to https://<mypublicip>:8006 and it was there. I guess this is because my machine had stored the tls key for https://<mypublicip>:8006, so I had to go there. The first time I went to <mypublicip> it redirected me to the https://<mypublicip>:8006 and i had to go through all the acceptance of the cert.
