Upgrade to 1.6 but staying with older kernel?

Is it possible to upgrade a 1.5 Proxmox system to 1.6, but skip installation of 2.6.32 kernel and stay with 2.6.24?

Until we (and others) have tested 2.6.32 extensively we would like to run the older kernel on our production servers.
