Hi,
I need some advice on this task.
We have a Proxmox cluster, 4 nodes (all with version 5.4).
And I need to upgrade all to the last version (7.0).

What would be the best approach in this scenario?
Upgrade from 5.4 to 6.4, then to 7?
Or remove node from cluster, do a install from the scratch with version 7, and add it to cluster again?

Thanks!

you should first upgrade your cluster nodes to PVE 6 [0] and then to PVE 7 [1] by following the upgrade notes.
make sure you have backups before proceeding with upgrade!

read the upgrade notes carefully, especially if you have ceph installed you'll need to watch out for that.

I know this is kind of an old thread, but I'm in this exact same situation, with a little difference: I have a cluster of 3 nodes, where one of the nodes is already on proxmox 7. Should I just update the other two from 5 to 6 then to 7 and finally all of them to 8?
