Upgrade 3.4 -> 4.x shared FC storage

Hello!

I am thinking about upgrade 3.4 -> 4.x
I have pve cluster (9 nodes) with 3 shared FC storages.
Can I share storage between old and new cluster?

My upgrade plan:

• Remove 3 node from pve cluster
• Install proxmox 4 on the this nodes
• Create new cluster
• Connect new cluster to old pve storage (OR I must create new storage and move VM to it ?)
• Manual move several VM from old cluster to new cluster
• And continue upgrade node by node

Concerning shared storage:
It should work as long as you do not change any metadata on your volume group (creating, removing or size changes of any LVs). You will not have a working whole-cluster locking and will probably end up in a split-brain situation.
