upgrade 1.1 to 1.2 fails before fetching packages.

Upgrading 1.1 to 1.2 fails , very early in script.

For me it seems that it have some issues with pages it tries to fetch which
does not exists.

I know i got this GPG-error but it is because this dump was taking on the
second run.... Need to have it fixed back to etch again...

Modify your /etc/apt/sources.list (comment out repo.opensource-sw.net)

# apt-get update

must be successful, else you can't upgrade
 
Having the same issue. but can't find line to comment out in sources.list :confused:

Looks like you simply have a DNS problem.

Yep, that seemed to have been the problem. My Proxmox DNS setting was set to my router, which I thought would forward requests to the ISP's DNS server. When I changed that to the ISP's DNS servers the upgrade seemed to work.
