Hi all,

I just installed network virtio drivers, from iso (in latest) virtio-win-0.1-mm34.iso. So the iso name scheme is not the same, it was virtio-win-1.1.16.iso previously.

I only found the network drivers under Vista subfoder (amd64 in my case). The version number is also different. It was 5.1.209.605 previously, it is now 60.61.101.58000.
And it appears to be signed now, by Red Hat, Inc.

This driver is working correctly, at first sight.

Hi Biagio,

I can only say that I am now using exclusively the latest virtio-win drivers, that is virtio-win-0.1-mm34.iso, signed by RedHat, on my windows VMs (2008 R2). I use them for networking, and also for storage, but not for C: (I stick currently with IDE because for me performance is sufficient, and I am a bit cautious here), but for additional storage disks.

I did no performance test, so the only thing I can say is that it works for me without any problem.
