Morning people.
Ran an udate on my Proxmox setup today. And after rebooting it one of my storage mounts is having some issues.
Proxmox novice here so bear with me.

May 12 08:41:13 home pvestatd[1436]: unable to activate storage 'BigStorage' - directory is expected to be a mount point but is not mounted: '/mnt/pve/BigStorage'

I have tried reverting toa n older kernel as that was the most common fix i could find but it does not seem to help.
Any ideas?

If you review your /etc/pve/storage.cfg, you will find the configuration block for the storage pool called "BigStorage". It will have "is_mountpoint yes" option.
It means that the path specified for "BigStorage" is expected to be backed by some sort of external device (USB, NAS, etc).
At this time the mountpoint is not active. It could be caused by many things, ie the USB disk is not plugged in, the NAS is not active, etc.
To prevent you from writing data to your root disk the PVE will give you a warning and refuse to activate the storage.

You need to troubleshoot and resolve the situation by either fixing the mount or removing the storage.

Good luck

Thanks for the reply. I ended up not being able to fix it, so a full reinstall was made. Sucks :\
