Hi there,

I run a single PVE node, originally started with 7 updated to 8 and now I want to update to 9.
I followed the steps in the wiki here:
https://pve.proxmox.com/wiki/Upgrade_from_8_to_9

I changed the sources and an apt policy give me this result:
Code:
root@pve:/etc/apt# apt policy
Package files:
 100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
     release a=now
 500 http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pve trixie/pve-no-subscription amd64 Packages
     release o=Proxmox,a=stable,n=trixie,l=Proxmox Debian Repository,c=pve-no-subscription,b=amd64
     origin download.proxmox.com
 500 http://security.debian.org/debian-security trixie-security/non-free-firmware amd64 Packages
     release v=13,o=Debian,a=stable-security,n=trixie-security,l=Debian-Security,c=non-free-firmware,b=amd64
     origin security.debian.org
 500 http://security.debian.org/debian-security trixie-security/main amd64 Packages
     release v=13,o=Debian,a=stable-security,n=trixie-security,l=Debian-Security,c=main,b=amd64
     origin security.debian.org
 500 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie-updates/main amd64 Packages
     release v=13-updates,o=Debian,a=stable-updates,n=trixie-updates,l=Debian,c=main,b=amd64
     origin deb.debian.org
 500 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie/non-free-firmware amd64 Packages
     release v=13.3,o=Debian,a=stable,n=trixie,l=Debian,c=non-free-firmware,b=amd64
     origin deb.debian.org
 500 http://deb.debian.org/debian trixie/main amd64 Packages
     release v=13.3,o=Debian,a=stable,n=trixie,l=Debian,c=main,b=amd64
     origin deb.debian.org
 500 http://download.proxmox.com/debian/ceph-squid trixie/no-subscription amd64 Packages
     release o=Proxmox,a=stable,n=trixie,l=Proxmox Ceph 19 Squid Debian Repository,c=no-subscription,b=amd64
     origin download.proxmox.com
Pinned packages:

And here is the point, that gets me puzzled:
In the pve website unter "repository" I get following message:

Is it save to upgrade? Or is there something missing?

cheers and thanks in advance for any answers
Martin

Can you try to remove the no subscription repo at the bottom and then add it again via the Add button and reload?

tried that also... and this doesn't look right, either:

The "add" will add the bookworm repo, but it should be trixie, isn't it!

Yeah then it's probably just a case of PVE 8 not knowing how to deal with the PVE 9 Repo/Suite because what you shared first looks okay to me.

Thanks, Impact!
Then I will reset it in the sources.list.d files and do the dist-upgrade tomorrow.
I will share the results then!
