Unusable VMs/CTs during backup restoring

Hello

I run Proxmox on Intel I7 NUC 12 x Intel(R) Core(TM) i7-10710U CPU @ 1.10GHz (1 Socket) with 64 GB RAM
I noticed lately that when I restore VM/CT my other VMs/CTs become very slow, almost unusable, e.g. can't connect via VNC, commands hung via ssh session.

I wonder how to troubleshoot this and if anybody knows anything about this behavior?

1.10GHz is extremely slow nowadays, IIRC I was running a single-cpu 900MHz in the late 90s.

I would upgrade to a faster processor with more cores, and post details about your disks / backing storage (make/model/size) and configuration (raidz, mirrors, etc)

I am not disagreeing
But I've used it for 5-7 VMs/CTs for a while and never had those issues.
In other words, I believe it's something that I see on v9.x
