is it possible to use unix sockets to communicate between OVZ containers? for instance, have a mysql server running on one container, and have several other containers communicate via a unix socket?
Someone looked into it in 2009, and back then, it was problematic, back in VE 1.x days (they patched the kernel to allow it, but it caused some problems and it probably wasn't easy - see http://forum.proxmox.com/threads/1833-Shared-unix-socket-between-ve )
