I have looked through the forum posts here and I can see this has been posted previously but I have tried the solutions on those posts and it still does not work. When running apt-get update, I get the below:

username@host:~# apt update
Hit:1 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm InRelease
Hit:2 http://security.debian.org/debian-security bookworm-security InRelease
Hit:3 http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates InRelease
Hit:4 http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pbs bookworm InRelease
Err:5 https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/ceph-quincy bookworm InRelease
401 Unauthorized [IP: x.x.x.x 443]
Reading package lists... Done
E: Failed to fetch https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/ceph-quincy/dists/bookworm/InRelease 401 Unauthorized [IP: x.x.x.x 443]
E: The repository 'https://enterprise.proxmox.com/debian/ceph-quincy bookworm InRelease' is not signed.
N: Updating from such a repository can't be done securely, and is therefore disabled by default.
N: See apt-secure(8) manpage for repository creation and user configuration details.

I have tried adding the key manually as described here: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#repos_secure_apt

But I still get the above.

Thanks

Did you buy and activate a support subscription? If so, contact the webshop and/or create a support ticket for help with the subscription.
Otherwise use the no-subscription repositories for Proxmox and Ceph: https://pve.proxmox.com/pve-docs/pve-admin-guide.html#sysadmin_package_repositories

Thanks for the speedy response. I do not have a subscription no, but I have been using the no-subscription repositories already, output of cat /etc/apt/sources.list is below:

deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm main contrib
deb http://deb.debian.org/debian bookworm-updates main contrib

# Proxmox Backup Server pbs-no-subscription repository provided by proxmox.com,
# NOT recommended for production use
deb http://download.proxmox.com/debian/pbs bookworm pbs-no-subscription

# security updates
deb http://security.debian.org/debian-security bookworm-security main contrib

Is this correct?

It could be correct for Proxmox Backup Server but this is the Proxmox VE sub-forum, so I don't know which one you want.
You probably still have the default enterprise repositories enabled in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory (but you can also check and change this in the Proxmox web GUI).

I did not realise there was a difference between pve and pbs, total noob here. Thanks man, got it sorted.

Glad you got it sorted. Running PBS in a container on a PVE for quick backups of running VMs (and then syncing them off the server to another PBS) is the best! Please mark the thread Solved by editing the first post and selecting it from the pull-down menu.
