after a power outage (of two days)

Unable to reach graphic interface well i get in to the log on screen and getting error mesege "Login failed. Please try again"



i have 2 proxmox PCs with cluster

I’m not able to get to the GUI (not with the ip of the first pc and not with the second one)



some of the VMs and LXCs are set to auto startup so they are running

but i don’t have access to the GUI



i am able to connect with SSH to booth of them

hi,

please make sure that you are using "Linux PAM standard authentication" as the Realm in the login page.
 
ok ... i fixed the problem but i need some explanation (or fixing my system ...)
the second node (second proxmox server in the data center ) got a faulty NIC (probebly becose of the power outage) so the second server did not make any connection at all after NIC replacement everything working grate

so ... when i have a data center i can get locked out if one of my server die ???

If the cluster is not quorate [1] (which is the case, if one of your only two nodes is offline = no majority online), yes.
With only two nodes, it is highly recommended to either add a third node or at least add a QDevice [2] on an additional independent system.
