Hello,
I've just created a backup of a KVM system via "vzdump 120" on a proxmox 1.9 system. Then I've transferred the .tar file to a Proxmox 2.0 system and entered the following command: "qmrestore vzdump-qemu-120.tar 120"
I directly get this message: unable to parse volume ID 'vzdump-qemu-120.tar'
Does anyone know how to solve this issue?
When I use the same qmrestore command (qmrestore vzdump-qemu-120.tar 121) on the same 1.9 machine, it works without problems and it restores the VM 120 to 121. But it's not working on 2.0.
Edit: Problem solved. I just had to create a backup storage and copy the tar file to this directory. Then I was able to restore the backup via web control panel
