Hi all,

I am facing an issue opening up my Network tab and am trying to create a new bridgee.

The error I get is
Parameter verification failed. (400)

node: invalid format - value does not look like a valid node name

My current setup is not clustered, only a single node and is current on 8.1.10.

Not sure what else you may need to see but please let me know.

Thank you!

Is this when accessing the page itself or when trying to add a bridge?

A good start probably would be a the results of:
Code:
ip a
cat /etc/network/interfaces
Also, any specific reason you haven't upgraded past 8.1 yet?

This is accessing the page itself, screenshots below:

I just noticed there's 8.2 and am upgrading to that as I am typing.

Thank you!

it has always been called z6tower from start to now.

node has been upgrade to 8.2.4 now but still the same error on the Network tab.

side note, all VMs and network functionality works. Just I can not create new VMs as the network selection will show communication error

1720464853268.png

but any current VMs can be cloned to retain the original VMBR0 that exists and will function as normal, or I can create new VM without Network attached and manual add in the entry through the shell.
