Unable to delete failed snapshot

Hi guys. I canceled a snapshot before it was done. Now the VM gets locked all the time when trying to delete the failed snapshot.
Storage is NFS. How do i manually delete the snapshot? I see entry in conf file for snapshot. Can i just delete in there?
