Unable to connect with server GUI

I just freshly installed 8.2-1 and set it up but I am unable to get the server GUI working, I have no idea what could be wrong, when I try to connect to the https://192.168.254.51:8006/ it takes too long and times out. When I attempt to ping 8.8.8.8, on the server, it pings hundreds of times and all of them display DESTINATION UNREACHABLE. I would greatly appreciate any help in connecting to the GUI or just getting this server to work

Then you will have no network connection. You need to attach it by wire and chose an IP in the local subnet and set your router IP as the gateway. WiFi is not supported (and cannot be used for a virtual bridge) but can be setup manually later (with limited functionality).

Sure, you can probably setup the other computer to route the traffic (behind a NAT or something). I don't know enough about it to tell you any details on how to do that. There is a whole sub-forum about networking with Proxmox: https://forum.proxmox.com/forums/proxmox-ve-networking-and-firewall.17/ . Maybe you can find someone who already did something like that.
