[SOLVED] Unable to boot from CDROM Iso

Hello,
after reading hours and hours ,and not founding a solution ...
i'm on proxmox 8.3.3
i try to install a fresh VM microsoft windows server 2008R2 ( yes it s old but need to migrate samba AD )
and it won't boot always saying : could not read from cdrom ( code 0009 )
other VM creation is working ( windows server 2022 by exemple but also unbuntu vm )
the only one who don't work is windows server 2008 R2

May be you have an idea ?

the last try hardware ( still working with MS server 2022 )


i veryfy the iso , and he is well bootable :

Have you tried "i440fx" instead of "q35"? What about using the bootable disk with .raw instead of .qcow2

just tryed to be sure : same probleme with i440fx
and as sayed , when i change the ISO bootable CDROM with windows server 2022 it boot

Could you verify the .iso? I can boot into multiple windows server 2008 r2 isos, but I found the one from Microsoft not being able to boot

I download multiple time the same from microsoft
With your help a search other sources and find a new one and now it boot !!!
